Drawing book, 1825-1834.

Consists of 39 full and half-page pencil drawings by Sievier with four drawings by W.H. (probably William Haworth). Included in the drawings is a fireplace ornament for Chatsworth, the corner and center of a frame for the Earl of Shrewsbury, finials, looking glass frames, mantels, "gothic panels," "ornaments covered and laid in gold ground," and a clock.

Robert William Sievier is primarily noted for his works in sculpture. Initially an engraver, he became a sculptor in 1823. After 1840, Sievier devoted his life to science and became a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1841. Sievier's statue of Dr. Jenner is in the Gloucester Cathedral. He carved one of his few chimney pieces for the dining room of Chatsworth, the principal sea of the dukes of Devonshire located in Derbyshire, England.
